My dad died 3 days after being diagnosed.

My dad was only 60. He died May 15th, 2009, just 3 days after being diagnosed with extensive small cell lung cancer which had spread to his liver and his bones.

He went to the hospital after suffering a small stroke. They found the spot then. By the time the biopsy was done and he was diagnosed....it was too late. He smoked his entire life. I remember looking at him thinking "One day, I'm gonna lose him, and I bet it's to cancer". His oncologist said his death was directly linked to smoking. I am suffering the biggest loss I could ever endure. My heart is broken.
