Emily's Law-A Child's Right To Breath  My Stepdaughter is 11 years old and I am writing on her behalf- her Mother smokes cigarettes in the car with her in it and she won't let her roll the window down. Also the mother smokes in the house with the child present- My stepdaughter had to break the stand up fan on purpose so that her mother could smoke out side- although they do have a regular air condition system but the mother refuses to turn it on- anyway my stepdaughters plan on breaking the fan didn't work for the mother still smokes inside the house..... This is a woman who tells her own daughter that second hand smoke commercials are stupid. ..When she was still married to my stepdaughters father the mother wouldn't smoke cigarettes in their bathroom only in their children's bathroom......Emily has had ear problems to where they had to insert tubes- plus she is usually coughing and sick ... I think there ought to be a law about smoking in front of children!!! Emily's Law!! I am writing on behalf of all children who suffer from their parents stupidity..... Thank you Julie Bumgarner |
