if you smoke please read

hi my name is peter, i started smoking when i was eleven, when i was fourteen my father died of a heart attack ,he had smoked all his adult life and was only fifty two when i lost him ,i still miss him.

by than smoking had slowed me down to the point i could not play soccer anymore, still i kept it up, when i was thirty six i started having serious smoking related health issues ,between the years 2003-2008
i had 5 heart attacks and was fitted with four stents, i suffered for 2 years from smoking related chronic migraines ,some times i wanted to give up because the pain was so bad, sometimes i did not leave my appartment for weeks even though i often did not eat for days i still smoked. in june of 08 i suffered a stroke and am now partially blind, in august my heart began to shut down and i needed oxygen tanks to breathe, i remember shutting off the oxygen so i could light up. eventually i was rushed to mayo in phoenix where doctors worked for hours to keep me alive, tests told them that the only way i could continue to live was if i had a heart transplant, on oct 15 2008 i had a heart transplant in sharps memorial hospital in san deigo, every thing went great and i am now patching my life back together i will never smoke again but i ofter feel guilty because that heart could have gone to someone who had not destroyed thiers,
